Audible Physics is a company not known to too many outside of the high-end car audio scene, but it is time to get to know this great company. The owner and designer of Audible Physics (Rishi) has done designs and OEM manufacturing for companies all around the world. He is releasing his first product lines under his own name for the U.S. DIYer, and they will be available from MCM Electronics in the near future.

The first products released will be a 3/4" alloy dome tweeter, 2" paper wide-band, 4" alloy wide-band, and a 6.5" paper mid-woofer.

As of right now, we have the spec sheets for the 4" and the 6.5", and I am posting them here.



There will be more information posted as we receive it.

When are these available? Also these are different from the ram series? I can't find any third party or distortion data for these....

They are available now. And yes very different than the ram series. Being so new, no one has tested them yet. I hope to rectify that shortly.

Thoughts on the 2" being used a mid/tweeter? Would it need a super tweeter or be fine on it's own? how low could it be crossed without stressing it too much?

The 2" can be used as a wide band driver. The off axis will drop off due to the diameter of course, but will play into the top end very well. I tested the Ram2 that this is based on and it does very well. Depending on how much power you want to push to it, 300hz is quite doable.

Do you have the Ram2 measurements? I thought I saw some Ram test by you somewhere. I will search in this forum.
